My sister came to visit last week from the farm, and brought fresh produce. After playing with it for awhile . . . we made soup! The pumkin was called a Trumbachino, and she even brought me a plant to put in my garden.
I've been really wanting to try a pattern from my new Modern Quilts Book.
This is the one I've been working on. Lots of cutting but exciting results.
This is as far as I got before having to go out with family for cat food, and garden projects. I pruned some of my roses today and the highest temperature was 5 degrees. It was icy out there. My block will wait for me until Wednesday.
